I am having a strange issue with Stock by Attributes. I am using ZC 1.3.9h and SbA 1.4.14.
Whenever someone adds a product whose quantity is controlled by SbA that is out of stock, all subsequent items in the cart are marked as out of stock as well, even if they are in stock. Items prior to the out of stock item are not marked in this way. It does not seem to matter if the subsequent items are controlled by SbA or if they use the standard Zen Cart quantities. Removing the out-of-stock item from the cart makes the erroneous out-of-stock messages disappear. It's like as soon as it determines 1 item is out of stock it gets "stuck" and says that everything else after that is also out of stock.
Screenshots:
Screenshot 1
Screenshot 2
The first screenshot has:
Gumballs, Standard - Out of Stock (SbA item)
Gumballs, Short - Should have 2 (SbA item)
8-Ball Bearings - Should have 4 (Standard qty item)
The second screenshot has:
8-Ball Bearings - 4 in stock (Standard qty item)
Gumballs, Standard - Out of Stock (SbA item)
Juice Bearings - Should have 2 (Standard qty item)
I've searched everywhere in the forums and Google, and tried different settings in Admin>Stock to no avail. If I set it to not check stock, it does not display the out of stock messages (as expected). Ideally I'd like it to show the backorder warning on the proper items, but still allow the customer to go through the check-out process.
Another issue I am having (maybe related) is that standard quantity items are never marked as being on back-order in the cart even if their quantity is 0. However if it is set up to prevent check-out with insufficient stock, it will not allow check-out, but it won't give any indication as to why.
