Default Customer's First Name in "Send Email"

When I am sending emails/newsletters to my customers. It is just the message that I type out. I would like it to say in the body of the email Dead (customer's first name),

    Message....

How can I go about doing this? I know it does it in the emails that are send automatically, welcome, new order etc

For your HTML-formatted emails, you can use the email template files. See: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=113

For text-only emails, you don't have that option.
