How to show a flash before go into site?

I am just wondering if it is possible to show a page with only a flash and maybe some buttons before the real zen cart website is started. Did anyone do that before? How? Thanks.

I agree with "schoolboy",improve your homepage's layout would be much better,or select another template which is more suitable for your products.now,zen-cart templates is very cheap ,various and beautiful

Unless the flash file is built using components that embed meaningful text - such as accompanying XML material - Google cannot "read" the flash file. So it cannot evaluate what it cannot interpret.

Typically, flash landing pages are very thin on meaningful content for search engines - and this is a big downside when you want your home page to be a prominent candidate for search engines.

Also... page loading times are increasingly important for SEO. Flash tends to slow down page load times - and Google will give penalties for slow-loading.

But even so... the biggest reason to AVOID FLASH is that unless it offers something really useful to your shoppers - such as a critically important product demo - then don't use it.

If you think people will be impressed with a whole bunch of slipping and sliding nonsense (which is usually what flash does), then you are mistaken.

They have arrived at your site to BUY STUFF.

If they want entertainment, they will go to DISNEY.COM

And don't forget, if someone goes to look at your site on an iPhone or an iPad, they will see absolutely nothing.
