Limit the ship to countries to US, canada, mexico, few others not entire default list

Hello,

Wondering how I might change the ship to and create account country list to just a few and not the entire default list, I know it has to do with the zone setups, but do I delete every other country ?

Unfortunately, yes, until version 2 comes out, there's no built-in option to individually de-activate listed countries.

ok, before I mess up something, go to
Location/taxes --> Countries --> and delete all I do not want to have as a country to setup an account with AND do not want to ship to ?

so removing from this list will limit the country in the account signup & the entry for a ship to address ?

and for those I leave like the US and canada and such it will not remove the states under them or otherwise affect them
but mearly only allow those left as an option for the create account page and profiles ship to and extra addresses entries.

for everyone, I did it and it is a yes, remove the countries you do not want and it will remove from the signup, account and address book pages.
