Default errors in admin from ultimate seo urls

I upgraded to 1.5 and everything was fine. I found a version of ultimate seo urls that purported to be 1.5 ready. After installing, I realized that it wasn't - no sql statement to add to admin profiles. I played around with creating that and in the meantime, my admin session ended. Went to login again and got the message of something aint right (really don't like the phrasing y'all chose- tells me nothing.) I have now removed every little bit of that mod from everything and still am throwing an error when trying to get back in to admin:

[31-Mar-2012 01:30:15] PHP Fatal error: Class 'SEO_URL' not found in /home/kustom/public_html/kooziez/includes/autoload_func.php on line 79

How can it be looking for a class that's been removed and why I am getting the error in admin?

Where could a file be that then would not be where it's not supposed to be? (did that even make sense?)

Some angel out there tonight, speak to me, please!

The first thing I do in that scenario is look for extra files that didn't come with the original Zen Cart code: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...Obscure_Issues
Most likely you've got extra autoload scripts etc on your server.

So i started going thru all files in admin and found a file in admin autoloaders that shouldn't have been there. Gads. Thanks for your quick answer which was, of course, totally correct! Methinks I'm trying to do too much thinking on a Friday evening! Have a good weekend!

Mine is a fresh 1.5 install, my third one in fact as I wanted to start off testing Ultimate SEO URL after seeing it here. I'm new to Ultimate (using Simple SEO on one of my sites). Ultimate installed fairly straightforward and works insofar as I can tell. It even works with Easy Populate 4, as my last four products were uploaded via that and Ultimate SEO rewrote them.

What admin problems are you having? So I can see if I'm having same problem...and not knowing it.

    Thanks.

It doesn't show up in admin. Did it automatically show up for you with the new install?

You know, now that I recall, I didn't think it worked at first as I didn't see it. Then it was there.

I just saw your other thread here with Dr. Byte and assumed you now have it fixed?

I've already done it several times...I may just delete my zencart folder on this and start again, taking notes.

I'd like Ultimate SEO to work, it seems fully functional without additional mods and is about on par with the default Prestashop seo url (which also leaves cat/prod id #).

Simple SEO may be too complicated to bring to 1.5 and/or too little interest in it, I'm guessing.

yup my big problem was fixed but what it looks like is that you have uninstall the older version before you install the new version. He has added the admin_pages to the seo_install but if you already have it installed, it disappears from admin so you can't reinstall the sucker. That might be the only problem with it.

He has definitely not added that to the documentation.

or the better solution might be the approach that will be taken with IH4 which is that the auto-installer first uninstalls any existing versions..

I think Diva is on right track. While out jogging I remembered that while in the admin I thought Ultimate SEO a failure as I didn't see it. Then, while clicking around on the catalog and just before closing my browser, I noticed the urls were being rewritten. Went back in to admin and Ultimate SEO was now there.

    There is no sql file.

So perhaps it fully activates when you click on some catalog links?

Anyway, may do another install and watch more closely.

But for now, Ultimate SEO works on my fresh 1.5 install

No actually. Folks aren't going to want to set it up again. Documentation and upgrade SQL. Will try again in the morning with that idea. Will package if it works.
