The above image shows the result of a product search where we get featured in the Google Shop Now box. The others get 'Free Delivery' next to their entry, but we don't. How can we fix that?

I suspect the information is being picked up by Google from the Google Product Search Feeder results. Our store typically has flat $15 shipping for most items, and free shipping for items over $1,000.

Does anyone know if there a way to flag items over $1,000 as being free delivery in the feed, or in the Merchant Centre settings?

My understanding is that even if the rules are setup properly in the Merchant Centre, the value in the feed will override the rules. So it would be best to get it happening in the feed. But maybe I've got that wrong!

Some more research and I think I’ve fixed this issue.

Seems nothing is put into the feed about shipping costs. So it must all be done by rules in the Merchant Centre.

I’ve just made changes to those rules, so hopefully the shipping rates will now be handled properly.

Has anyone gotten this plugin to work with Zen Cart 1.5.6 on PHP 7+? I fixed the deprecated split() function, but now I get out Allowed Memory errors. I'm currently testing on my local server environment.

    Debug is as follows:

This may be a silly question, but did you find the menu under Tools....Google Merchant Center Feeder? If not, maybe the menu didn't get installed properly.

Once that works, I recommend setting up a Cron job on your server to generate your feed file daily so you don't have to do it manually.

Have you had any more luck yet? I'm still on 1.5.5 and older PHP, but I'm planning to migrate to 1.5.6 and PHP 7 soon. Once I get some time, I will give it a shot too.

OK, so some basics. Have you gone through all the settings in the menu "Configuration....Google Merchant Center Feeder Configuration" and have your output directory set, and some included categories for products?

What happens when you go to "Tools...Google Merchant Feeder" and you press confirm? You should get something like:

    Code:
Google Merchant Center Feeder v1.14.5 started 2019/02/27 11:44:35

    Feed file - /home/user/public_html/mysite.com/feed/google/my_products_en.xml

Processing: Feed - Yes, Upload - No

Google Merchant Center File Complete In 13.232373 Seconds 631 of 2894 Records
There's no point trying to set up a Cron job until that part works and you see an available file under "Tools...Google Merchant Feeder" with some records in it. Setting up a Cron job will depend on your particular host, and if you're not comfortable doing that, you might want to get help from your service provider. For example, the command for the job on my apache server is something like: wget 'http://mysite.com/googlefroogle.php?feed=fy_un_tp&key=MYGOOGLEMERCHANTKEY' and you'll need to set a time/frequency for the job to run on the server, which I do through my cpanel cron jobs applet.
