Spam Review Messages - 5000+ how to delete?

I just noticed ive got 5000 unapproved reviews messages.

I want to mass delete these

Also i want to remove reviews completely from zen cart

How can i do this thanks

1) To turn it off read this thread there are 3 things you need to do

Make sure you remove the link from the sitemap

2) To mass delete them, you may be able to truncate the tables in the database:
there are 2 tables effected

reviews
reviews description,

if there are no reviews you want to keep, truncate (ie: click "Empty" on) both tables via phpadmin

Thanks.. ive done all of that.

Im still worried it might be possible for these spam bots to write more reviews even though i took the review links out they may still be able to call the write a review link?

Just like any other page, if you want to prevent everyone from accessing a page you're not using, then simply delete or rename the corresponding (ie: /includes/modules/pages/product_reviews_write/ ) folder and then any visitor or search engine who tries to visit the page (ie: index.php?main_page=product_reviews_write ) will get a nice ugly 404 NOT FOUND response (or whatever you've configured your site to deliver).

Just to confirm i deleted everything in reviews and reviews descpription. Im not sure what "truncate them" means... assume that means delete which is what i have done and seems to have worked.
