Default ETA or ETD (Estimated Time of Delievery) ?

Is there contribution when the customer when they place an order and customer gives an estimated date when they get their item(s) be delivered. Lik for an example:

Lets say they place an order today on April 10th and the shipping usually takes 4 to 7 days.

on the shipping screen when the buyers checks out will say your order will arrive approximately April 15th - April 18th.

    Thanks

Any estimated shipping dates need to be determined by whatever shipping method(s) that you elect to use. It is illogical to think that there would be some kind of 'generic' addon/contribution that can possibly do this on its own. Many shipping modules (especially those that provide 'real time quotes') have inbuilt code that will report the estimated date as provided by the courier/carrier.
