My zen guy added banner images on my home page and each main category page. I want to remove the banner from loading o the Home page only. There is no page specific setting in Banner Manager. DO I need to edit php somewhere?

Yes, you will have to write custom PHP code. There is no admin-switch to turn off banners on only certain pages.
