Configuration links gone, after add-on

Hello, Can anyone help me to know what I may have done wrong in doing an install for Add-on Sideboxes. After I'd finished, all my Admin/Configuration links (save two) were gone. I've tried reloading all of ZC (overwrite older files only), with no change.

When I'd first done it, I had neglected to change "Custom_Folder" to my own aberdeen_neutral, and went back and did this manually. Then I'd not understood how to do the InstallSQL.txt, and finally understood to do this from the Admin settings -- which seemed to take the first time, but resulted in an error message, please refresh and try again message after that.

It seems to me that I've had this problem in the past with some kind of install error, but I don't know how to fix it.

Any thoughts, anyone?

Oops. Sorry for the lack of information; and perhaps I've found my own problem. My ZC version is 1.5.1 and the add-on "More Information Sideboxes" by CharmedbyTina seems to be for v1.3.8. This is destined not to work, correct?

Moreover, since it seems I have screwed up the site, is there any way to reverse this, short of a total reinstall? Also, I did the Admin/InstallSQL patch that came with the software -- now likely affecting the db. How bad off am I, and how is best to fix all of this?

Did you not create a full backup prior to installation?

If not (tut tut!) then simply unpick/remove each file from the add-on. Did the add-on come with an uninstall SQL?
Have you looked on its support thread, they're may be an uninstall posted there?
