Unable to access Apsona ShopAdmin - localhost

Hi,

I installed Apsona ShopAdmin for Zen Cart a few days ago and still I cannot access the ShopAdmin site. From Tools in Zen Cart when clicking Apsona ShopAdmin a new page opens only with version info and my site name.
What am I doing wrong. PHP is 5.4.0, Zen Cart 1.5.0, MySQL 5.5.21. Running from localhost. Windows 7 64.

Rob,

I had the same problem, but got it to work easily on 1.5. Apsona requires you to use a browser like CHROME, etc. It will NOT work with IE. Try that and see if it helps.

I'm using Chrome but not working (also tried I.E.). I contactedm Asona support through their website but didn't receive answer.

Nothing else I can do...

Sorry that didn't help, Rob. I've got 2 testbeds on my localhost Win 7 64, and it works on both of them. There's an Apsona thread here on the board. If you havent already checked it, do a search on it and browse through it. Maybe you'll find the answer there.

I did read a post somewhere, I think from DrByte, that Apsona downloads code everytime you run it. Does your local machine have internet access when you try to run Apsona?

Yes my machine is allways on line. I read all threads in this forum but nothing so far that adresses my problem. I have the feeling that must be something very simple that I'm missing.

Hi Rob,
Because of the way the admin area was re-written with additional security in 1.5.0, there is no longer a pop up apsona page.
Using the url for your site's admin area like this : YOURWEBSITE.com/YOUR ADMIN, add this to the end: /apsona_index.php
So like this: YOURWEBSITE.com/YOUR ADMIN/apsona_index.php (You will get a log-in screen, if you're not already logged into your admin area.)
BOOKMARK the apsona dashboard page. Now you can access apsona at anytime.
As I said earlier, you'll get the admin log-in screen, but one you log in, you'll be taken directly to the apsona dashboard.
