Customer login doesn't work from Home Page.

If you click the login link from the home page it goes to https://labelpeelers.com/index.php?main_page=login but it just goes back to the home page and doesn't log the customer in. No error messages nothing, just not logged in. But! if I go to any other page and click the login link it goes to https://labelpeelers.com/index.php?main_page=login (the identical page) but the customer log in works!

Any ideas?

Hi

I created an account and initially was able to log back in using firefox. Logging in did return me to the home page but the "log off" and "my account" links were there to go and view my info.

I had trouble when using internet explorer, safari and google chrome. What I noticed was the zenid was a part of the login url and I wasn't able to login. Navigating to other pages removed the zenid (or removing manually) and then I was able to login.

I went back to firefox and deleted cookies for your site. Then I had trouble logging in when zenid was part of the url. Removing zenid allowed me to log in.

Did you try turning off your seo module to see if the problem still happens?

Did you try changing your template to classic to see if the problem still happens?

configuration > sessions > Recreate Session - set to false may prevent the problem but it's not a good permanent solution.

Also a different subject; when viewing pages with https, after logging in, there are ssl security warning popups happening in internet explorer. Images on your home page should use either relative urls, like:

/images/beer_making_header.gif

or add https to the full url.

https://labelpeelers.com/images/beer_making_header.gif

The facebook like button seems to be part of the problem too.
