Hi again balihr,

In double checking everything, I had a syntax error when writing in the Banner Group when creating a new banner. I had written in slide 1 and it should be slide1 without the space. Now that I have corrected this....it all works perfectly!

Hi again balihr,

I have the plugin working well in my Wampserver test site on my local computer. I have now uploaded to a subfolder on my website and added in my database and upgraded it to v.1.5.8 to get everything in order to test and then go live.

Unfortunately I now no longer have is showing in Admin-> Config. I have tried rerunning the SQL statement to see if this would have any effect....but it did not.

I have this error in my Debug logs:

PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant ZX_SLIDESHOW_STATUS - assumed 'ZX_SLIDESHOW_STATUS' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/mysite/public_html/new158/includes/templates/custom/templates/tpl_index_default.php on line 18.

Any ideas why it does not show in My Admin??

I'd start by checking the database manually. Check the configuration_group table to see if there's any trace of ZX Slideshow and get the group_id, then do a search in the configuration table for that group_id and delete all entries you find. They will all start with ZX_SLIDESHOW
You can also do a search in the configuration table - search configuration_key LIKE %...% ZX_SLIDESHOW to make sure any duplicate entries are deleted.
Then run the contents of the install sql file from admin again.

BTW, I'm in the process of re-writing the plugin - v2 is based on swiperJS and will have much more features than the current one. ETA (if all goes as planned) is 2 weeks max.

Thanks for your reply balihr and for your suggestions! I have looked at it all and followed your instructions and when I have run the SQL statement once again, it all now appears in my Admin-> Config. Thanks very much for your help!

includes/templates/bootstrap/jscript/jscript_jquery-1.7.1.min.js

Glad I found this, was checking the forum for precisely this issue.

Adding ZX broke my sister's website on mobile (works on computer) and I went ahead and removed/added each file one by one to find when it would break.

Removing the JQ-1.7.1 fixed everything.

Is anyone interested to help me test the new version before packing it up as a plugin and submitting here? I'm pretty sure there's stuff that can be done to improve it, but am running out of time and ideas... A fresh pair of eyes would be most welcome.
It's based on SwiperJS and Animate.css so should be quite nice to use with the new features to add readable text over the images.

Please do NOT test on a live site! This is a pre-release!

The files are currently only available on github with documentation in progress.

Hi balihr,

I have installed and am running this plugin on my recently installed v.1.5.8 site. When I create the banner in Banner Mgr and use the Browse to add in the image, all works perfectly and it displays. The one thing is that it also now adds this image to my product description as an additional image. Is there a way to not have it add it to the product description page??
