Can I have both Express Checkout and Website Payments Pro, or is it one or the other? Does anyone have experience if there are more or less problems with one or the other, as I have been having ongoing issues with checkout going to PayPal and I'm trying everything I know to try and fix this issue. Thanks for any advice you can give.

If you're asking if you can have both PayPal Express Checkout and PayPal Website Payments Pro, the answer is no. You use one or the other, but not both.

In fact, if you wish to use Website Payments Pro, you MUST also have Express Checkout. That's PayPal's terms.
This is true for v1.3.9 and v1.5.0 and newer.
