    Default Re: adding multiple images

    Hi,
I have two sets of images Set one and Set two.

Can someone tell me why if I create a product say with autotrol_piccolo.png as main image none of the other images in set one is shown while instead, if I create a product say with /images/gasatore_montecarlo_plus.png as main image, all the other images in set two are shown as additional images?

All images of the two sets are in the same folder.

    This is driving me crazy!!!

    Set one
    /images/autotrol_bypass.png
    /images/autotrol_disinfettante.png
    /images/autotrol_grande.png
    /images/autotrol_medio.png
    /images/autotrol_piccolo.png
    /images/autotrol_senza.png
    /images/autotrol_testa_00.png
    /images/autotrol_testa_01.png
    /images/autotrol_testa_02.png
    /images/autotrol_testa_03.png
    /images/autotrol_testa_04.png

    Seo two
    /images/gasatore_montecarlo_plus.png
    /images/gasatore_montecarlo_plus_bianco.png
    /images/gasatore_montecarlo_plus_blu.png
    /images/gasatore_montecarlo_plus_grigio.png
    /images/gasatore_montecarlo_plus_osmo.jpg
    /images/gasatore_montecarlo_plus_osmo.png

As far as I understand from here
    Original Image: fred.jpg

All of these are considered additional images because they contain the base image name PROVIDED you are in the /images directory:

    fredabc.jpg
    fred_73b2.jpg
    fred_01.jpg
    fred_02.jpg
    freddy.jpg
    fredrick.jpg
    I am not making mistakes.

    Thanks!!!
    Ciao from Italy

    Because in group 1:

    Set one
    /images/autotrol_bypass.png
    /images/autotrol_disinfettante.png
    /images/autotrol_grande.png
    /images/autotrol_medio.png
    /images/autotrol_piccolo.png
    /images/autotrol_senza.png
    /images/autotrol_testa_00.png
    /images/autotrol_testa_01.png
    /images/autotrol_testa_02.png
    /images/autotrol_testa_03.png
    /images/autotrol_testa_04.png

The base name is autotrol, not autotrol_piccolo.png

So technically you need an autotrol.png image to be the primary image for the product... in set 2, all of the filenames begin with the same "two" words.

    As a side issue
I prefer to always use subdirectories for all product images
It cleaner, easier to maintain, and forces the use of the underscore "_" as the delimiter
