Multiple pages with same content

I was looking through Google Webmaster Tools and I noticed I had lots of pages with duplicate title tags.

Most of these pages are duplicated 3 or 4 times but some 10 - 15 times.

Here is an example:

They all lead to the same content but each has slightly different breadcrumb path.

I honestly don't know how to track down the reason for this, I guess it's a plug-in I've installed at some point, or other modification I've made to the site. But I don't know how to approach finding the issue causing the problem. I'm hoping someone can help.

Do you have linked products? When you view your catalog structure (admin Catalog->Categories/Products) are there yellow "buttons" in the Status column? You might, at one time, have had different products linked to different categories and now all each of those categories have *exactly* the same linked content.

Yes its just linked products. Don't worry about it, google will most likely just choose one of them.

We have used linked products in the past. We've removed most of them now though as we noticed a problem with linked products not ranking well in google shopping feed.

What I dont' get is the strange breadcrumb trails though, this is one example:

Home | Car Accessories | Mobile, iPhone & iPod | Mobile Phone Chargers | Bikes | Childrens Bikes | Car Styling | Paints

the correct path should be Home | Car Styling | Paints

How on earth does it end up with a breadcrumb path like that?

What version of zen are you using
Your pages do NOT have "canonical links" defined!!!
If you did google would see the one link for these.

You shouldnt really do that. Linked products in multiple categories help with seo for those category pages. You can manually remove duplicate products from your google shopping feed and then submit it.

And you need to upgrade to at least v1.3.9h if not v1.5.0 for security. It's only a matter of time before any v1.3.8 site gets hacked.
