    Default Fatal Error.... Help!

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare date_diff() in /home/stevi556/public_html/shop/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 2983

The above is what I get when I try to go to the login page for my ZenCart admin. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Is this a new install? Old shop that suddenly stopped working?

    What version is it?

Have you added any mods or made any changes recently?

That is a classic indication of trying to use ZC v1.3.8a or older on a server running PHP version 5.3.0 or newer.

Best solution: upgrade to a newer version of Zen Cart. Yours is not only incompatible with contemporary server software, but it also has numerous serious security holes.

By upgrade, you mean install the new version and start from scratch, or is there an upgrade option that won't wipe out my current "store?"

By following a proper upgrade, which retains all your existing data: www.zen-cart.com/upgrade
Temporarily staged in another folder+database while you "test" it all, before touching your "live" store, so that there's no downtime. As explained in that document.
