Text Attributes

Can someone please direct me to a detailed tutorial for setting up Text Attributes?
I did figure out how to create attributes like color, size, etc. But, I can't find instructions for text attributes. Many of my products come with personalized engraving, embroidery or printing. I need to be able to specify the number of characters allowed & number of lines allowed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

NOTE: TEXT Attributes only need the Option Name to be created ... the Option Value is already created and when adding Attributes the Option Value will read:
TEXT/UPLOAD FILE [#0]

I am using the file or text attribute to upload to Zencart 1.5.4 of the texts.

But the confirmation button now can you load the documents in the store where I find it ?.

After you have enabled the attribute in Zencart, the browse button appears on the product page and uploads as in Zencart.

Give me an explanation in this anomaly.

Not sure that understand your situation. What I think is being asked is if a file is uploaded to the front end of the store by using the upload button attribute, where is the file located?

In the upload process, to maintain file security, the file is placed in the uploads directory with a modified filename.

And the mechanism I do not understand.

A charge user takes the document from the computer, but then the user as the store says he is loading the document in the store.

I take the document and click on the cart to confirm but the store excludes the documents why ?.

Does anyone write me how the attribute works, can I see the steps to understand the operation?

When asking questions about why a specific action is not working, please provide more specific details. What type of file was being uploaded? Was it a file that has a txt or standard image type extension?

By default, ZC only permits certain filetypes. The list of filetypes acceptable can be modified. The process(es_ can be seen in the code that is on your server. The upload class is found in the includes/classes directory. The attribute upload "button" is generated in the includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/attributes.php file.
