I have several items with SPECIAL pricing right now -- 25% off -- and they are displaying correctly across categories.
However when you add it to cart the normal pricing comes up.
The items are priced by attributes.
Help?

I cannot reproduce this issue ...
The only way the normal price of the Attribute is used is if the Attribute is set to:
Apply Discounts Used
by Product Special/Sale:
No Yes

Here's a product link so you can see it in action:
http://www.secretweaponminiatures.co...roducts_id=261
Looking at the Attributes Controller for this item I see:
Apply Discounts Used by Product Special/Sale: YES
It is normally priced at $10.00 and is listed at $7.50 for the base item. But if I add the item to my cart it shows up at $10.00 -- HOWEVER if I select the attribute item, on sale for $3.75, the price comes up at $13.75 so it's pulling ONE of the discounts but not both.
These are the items I manually entered as SPECIAL instead of using the Sale Maker because they're linked. I mention that here again because I know you see a lot of threads.
Thanks yet again!
You have that Product marked as Priced by Attribute but I do not see that this is correct ...
What have you entered as the Product Price?
What Attributes combine to make the 10.00 or 7.50?
What are your settings on the Attributes?

Here's what I have:
Product Priced by Attributes: YES
Product Price: 10.00
That's the base price -- the item, by itself, is $10.00
You can then ADD a second item listed at $5.00 -- the stand in the drop down -- so it's normally either $10.00 or $15.00
The stand is available by itself for $5.00 and is also listed with Special pricing right now at 25% off -- $3.75
http://www.secretweaponminiatures.co...roducts_id=250
The widget is correctly listing at $3.75 and goes into the cart at $3.75 by itself.
So by itself the base is listing at $7.50 on the list page and in the product info page.
But when you add the base to the cart it goes in at $10.00 -- or $13.75 if you add the stand.
From the Attribute Controller here are all of the settings:
Used For Display Purposes Only: NO
Attribute is Free When Product is Free: YES
Default Attribute to be Marked Selected: NO
Apply Discounts Used by Product Special/Sale: YES
Include in Base Price When Priced by Attributes: YES
Attribute Required for Text: NO
It also correctly displays the special pricing at the top of the page
Priced by Attributes
$10.00 $7.50
Save: 25% off
This is not Priced by Attribute Product ...
Priced by Attribute is for Products that have to have their prices built from the Attributes ...
Your Products are Products that have a Price, plus Attributes with a Price ...
Try turning OFF the Priced by Attribute on the Product:
Beveled Edge: 95x120mm Urban Invasion Base

PROBLEM SOLVED!
Thank you so much - I understand "Priced by Attributes" better now too.
This isn't the first time you've saved my bacon - and I know that nothing says "thank you" quite like money so I sent a donation.
Thanks for the update that all is working well once more and thanks very much for the support ... we really appreciate the coffee and donuts ...

BIG issue... my cart has quantity discounts and now, i have a sale. The issue is that the sale works like a charm as long as the quantity discounts don't kick in. as soon as a customer orders enough to get the quantity discounts the sale is not applied in the cart...
example: buy 5 or more you get 10% off (regular price 10.00 - to make it easy)
sale is 40%
if you buy one the sale is applied and you pay only 6.00 (reg price minus 40%)
but if you buy 5 you only get the 10% off (for quantity) to pay 9.00 instead of 5.40 each
any solutions? using ZC 150
I'm having a similar problem - but not the same.
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but have read so many threads about this and not getting anywhere with regards to fixing the problem. Oh and I'm using 1.3.9h.
I installed a special (actually this was done prior to me recently commencing work at my company), and am trying to change it - but the special price -for some reason - keeps reverting back to the old special. There aren't any dates set up, so that shouldn't affect it.
Specials Status is active, and priced by attributes is set on no. I have tried all the suggestions above and more, but not getting anywhere. And I've realised this problem is across the board with multiple products.
See http://www.supplementmart.com.au/whe...y-protein-10lb for a specific product that this problem is affecting. It should be $154.20, but reflects on the products price manager and website as $169.62.
Please help. I've attached a screenshot of my example fyi..
