Default Merging the products from one shopping cart to the other

Currently, I have two shops, one for my crystals and one for my art. My idea was to keep them separate so I could draw in art clients who did not want to go through the crystal stuff to get to the art stuff. However, now my crystal clients want the art stuff back over on that shop. So, while I will keep the art stuff in the art shop for new customers, I would like to offer the same art products in the crystal shop for my older clients.

How can I move the products from my art site over to my crystal site?

    thanks!!

Just for the record, I have checked all of the existing questions like this. I am NOT moving to another hoster or server. I simply have two carts on the same server. I want to keep both, but also copy all from one cart over to the other. Can no one point me in the right direction? thank you.

This can be done, but it takes a bit of time to prepare the database ...

To merge to sets of database tables, the pointers such as:
    products_id
    categories_id
    parent_id
    master_categories_id
    manufacturers_id
    products_attributes_id
    options_id
    options_values_id
    discount_id
    products_options_values_id
    products_options_values_to_products_options_id
    reviews_id
    specials_id
    featured_id

These are very difficult to update if Sale Maker is used:
    sale_id
    sale_categories_selected
    sale_categories_all

just to name a few ...

If you look at the Crystal stuff ...

How many Products do you have?
How many Categories do you have?
    Do you use Attributes?
    Do you use Specials?
    Do you use Featured Products?
    Do you use Manufacturers?
    Do you use SaleMaker?
Do you use custom MetaTags for Products?
Do you use custom MetaTags for Categories?
    Do you use Reviews?

Holy moly Batman! *whack* That is just too much much .......LOL I have less than 100 products for the art stuff and over 500 for the crystals....Maybe I will just add a few products from the art site at a time to the crystal site. That seems to appeal to my step by step OCD nature much better. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! for taking the time to write this out for me. I will definitely keep it handy in case I do get brave sometime in the future. Ajeh, you rock!

It can be rather time consuming to do this ... and accuracy is important ...

Good luck with the update ...
