price for different currency

Hi I am working on a website which will sale books worldwide. I want to enter different book prices base on currency.So in admin there should be a provision to select the currency first and then enter the price. I have 3-4 currency. I can not handle it by product attribute as client don't want to show all the prices on front end.So only current currency price will be visible on the front-end.

Zen Cart handles different currencies using the conversion rate that you can set in Localization > Currencies.

Simply enter the price of your products in the default currency, then Zen Cart will automatically convert to all the other currencies for you.

This might work ...

Let's say your currencies are Euro, Pound and Dollar. Put your website into Maintenance Mode, change the default currency to Euro and enter those books that are base-priced in Euro. Change the default currency to Pound and enter those books that are base-priced in Pounds. Change the default currency to Dollar and enter those books that are priced in Dollars. Change the default currency to your "real" default currency. Take the website out of Maintenance Mode.
