Remove Message Stack/Alerts

How do I remove the alert that displays at the top of the page?

I have the "My Store/Display Cart After Adding Product" is set to false. Now when I add an item i get an alert at the top of the page that says "Successfully added Product to the cart ...".

I'm not entirely sure what other alerts may appear for different functions; some I might want/need to keep, but definitely not this one!

Go to this page: http://uat.lunatiktattoocare.com/ind...&products_id=2 add the item, the message then shows at the top of the page.

I'm curious as to why you "definitely" don't want this notification. Customers are used to seeing some sort of notification or being taken to the cart when an item is added.
I can understand not taking them to the cart, but I wonder if removing the alert would cause them to add to cart more than once until they realized that the addition actually happened.

I agree, their are other alternatives like using java-script to put the messages in a modal box - and reverting to the stock display if java-script is disabled

I have re-evaluated this and decided to move the message stack to a place on the page that doesn't shift the page so noticeably and is less 'in your face' and i also changed the styles so it looks better.
