[Not a bug] who's online page not showing customers cart after move

[vandiermen]

move from PHP 5.3.10 server to PHP 5.3.13 server last night
since then:
who's online page shows no customer or guest carts on right side
anyone whos has been active in the last 40 second as green and in active for a minute as yellow.
otherwise 100% good.

Why are you filing this as a Zen Cart Bug Report?
You said it worked fine before the move, right? So it's not Zen Cart that's the problem. It would be your server's configuration.

suhosin encrypts session data, and thus prevents Zen Cart from reading that data to display the customers' cart contents.

I did not really think. I thought the cause my be an update to server software that you may run into more in the future, like something you can code for in the next version, but if its not something other servers are going to upgrade to then its not zen-cart.

6 months ago I moved a zencart 1.3.9x to a PHP 5.3.xx server, then whos online page stop working (would not load at all), everything else seemed file, then the website got hacked. only way to prevent it from being hacked was to update to 1.5.0. brought back memories.

You may call this one a [Not a ZC bug] or move this post, or delete it. I have thanks for such a skilled developer looking at my problems. I should donate.

Zen Cart now contains code which gracefully ignores the encrypted basket contents instead of displaying ugly errors that occurred in older versions.
