Image length too long, image won't load

Hi there,

I've got a bit of a problem;

The productimages won't load. I've figured out that the problem is the length of the image. But it makes no difference at all even though I've changed the SQL to:

products_image varchar(255)

The site is located here:

And the image is located here:

Is there anyone that could help me?

You mean the length of the IMAGE NAME.

Just shorten the names to a reasonable length.

Image naming conventions are largely ignored these days (Thanks to Bill Gates), but image names for LINUX systems should always be:

1. lower case
2. alpha-numeric ONLY
3. No letter spaces
4. NO special characters.
5. Lower case file extention (.jpg)

This is so easy to get right the first time... Correct your image names, following the conventions, and you will be up and away...

Oh sry.
Ofc I mean the length of the image filename.

The problem is that I'm not the one that will insert products etc, it's costumers at the age of 50+.
So I really need to solve this better that asking them to change the image name.

I am approaching 60, so age has nothing to do with competence.

Use proper image files names and you will have no problems.

It will take 15 minutes to teach people to use the proper naming conventions. This is also important for zencart in terms of using additional images.

Get it right the first time and you will not have problems down the line.

If you don't want to take this advice, well... that's your choice.

Products entered before you increased the length will still be saved as '250_Adidas-Mundial-Goal-Copa-Indo'. You need to resubmit the product with the full image name again.
For your sanity though it's a good idea to try and get everyone using a similar naming convention.
