Having trouble adding new attributes

In case you can't read it, there are 3945 records.

products_options_name is Upload your files X
products_options_sort_order is 5
products_options_type is 2
products_options_length is 32

Look via phpMyAdmin ... what are your settings in the table:
products_options_types

1 text
2 Radio
3 Checkbox
4 File
5 Read Only

You said you were making an Option Name:
products_options_id is 3945
language_id is 1
products_options_name is Upload your files X
products_options_sort_order is 5
products_options_type is 2
products_options_length is 32

which sounds like it is intended for a File Upload ... if that is the case, you do not have it made right as it should be made with the Option Type for File ...

I would delete this one and start over making the Option Name with the Option Type File ...

NOTE: TEXT and FILE do NOT have Option Values ... when you go to add them as an Attribute you should select the Option Value for:
TEXT/UPLOAD FILE [#0]

That is just a name I used so it would be at the end and therefore easier to find. Nothing seems to be working regardless of what it is named. I've sent you the admin access to the cart and database, could you log in and try to do this? I'm sure you'll see in two minutes what the issue is.

Could you explain whether or not the Option Name:
#3945 Upload your files X

is suppose to be for the Customer to Upload a File to your site?

No it's not, it's an option for an item already in the cart. I just used that name so it would be easier to find.

And if you go to the Option Values and select the Option Name:
Upload your files X

and enter in an Option Value Name ...

then, select the Option Name:
Upload your files X

and enter in the next Option Value Name ...

What happens?

You can't see the item in Option Values. You can go to Option Names and see it, but when you look for it on Option Values it isn't there.
