Adding a background image/texture to stylesheet.css

Hello everyone,

I am trying to add a background texture/image to my shopping cart. I tried adding the following but is not working!

body {margin: 0;font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 62.5%;color: #888787;background-color: #3A221C url(http://www.ishafairtrade.com.au/wp-c...634740_S.jpg); ;}

I added what's in the blue, but it is not working.....please help
I realize I may not be able to see the image as it could be behind the shopping cart area but I also tried 'repeat' to no avail!

If you want us to be able to help with the Zencart portion of your site (I assume that's what the 'Online Store' link leads to), you'll have to take the site out of Maintenance Mode.

picandnix appears to be correct. The site appears to be WordPress. If so, they should be able to advise you on their forums.

Hi guys, No I am talking about the stylesheet.css in my zencart store, www.ishafairtrade.com.au/zencart

but I just realised part of my problem may be that i am calling the image from the wordpress files instead of the zencart files?

picandnix appears to be correct. The site appears to be WordPress. If so, they should be able to advise you on their forums.

ishafairtrade.com.au/ <<< is wordpress
ishafairtrade.com.au/zencart <<< is zencart

I'd check for the image path, and the syntax:
.jpg); ;}

I tried with this, and it works
url("http://www.ishafairtrade.com.au/zencart/includes/templates/alysa_rounded/buttons/english/button_search_header.gif")

Put your image in
templates/alysa_rounded/images
and try again

Sorry it took so long to get back to you guys, I have saved the image in the correct place now but I cannot get the image to show up. In the stylesheet.css line 1, I have this

I am just getting a white color background now. I read elsewhere that the image is meant to tile on its own....so I do not know what is going on now....

I have tried adding in quotation marks as well, shortening the url to just includes/templates/alysa_rounded/images/Depositphotos_1634740_S.jpg);} and so forth but nothing is working....

Try this: background-image: url(../images/Depositphotos_1634740_S.jpg);
