Default Link new pages to a menu item

    Hi all,
I have a standard v1.50 installation using a template from Brandon Turpin (thanks Brandon, it's amazing!). I also have a few add-ons but they're not related to what my question is.

There are 2 new menu items (not drop-downs) that I've created, and I'd like to link them to pages that I can edit in the Define Pages Editor in Admin. Alternatively, I can also resort to directly editing the HTML in a file.

I've read how to create new pages and did what (I think) I was supposed to do, but the new pages aren't appearing in the Define Pages Editor list.

Any ideas whatsoever what I'm doing wrong?

Look at www.stoorceramics.co.za/store to see what I mean: the new pages are 'Specials' and ''My New Page Menu'.

    I'd greatly appreciate any help!

I'm pretty sure that for the pages to appear in the Define Pages Editor list, the include file needs to be in both the current language directory (e.g. /includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_page_name.php) and in the current template/language directory (e.g. /includes/languages/english/html_includes/YOUR_TEMPLATE/define_page_name.php).

Thanks - is the include file the one with the HTML text in (the text to appear on the page)?

Is it not maybe easier to create an EZ-Page and then link it to the new menu item? If so, any ideas how to do this?

    Thanks again for your help!

Yes, the "include" file (in the html_includes directory) is the one with the HTML text. I've never used EZ-pages, so can't comment on whether that's easier or not.

Yeah, I realized what a stooped question that was as soon as I asked it! Thanks so much for your help - it looks like everything's working now
