Support Thread for Google reCAPTCHA plugin

I had started a support thread for V3 since one didn’t exist and wasn’t linked to the plug-in. I asked the following:
”Quick question... should the previous version, if installed, of Google reCaptcha be uninstalled before installing this version?”
The reply I received was “probably not. V3 is not an upgrade”

if it’s not an upgrade, and previous plug-ins of reCaptcha should “probably not” be uninstalled… what’s the value of having 2 different types of reCaptcha installed?

if this isn’t a replacement or update, then, to me, it should have its own support thread.

The Recaptcha V3 plugin from numinix is something new and would be different than the other reCaptcha module in the plugins section. So before installing the one from Numinix I would uninstall the other.

I would assume on your other thread because the numinix module has unfortunate naming, using the "Recaptcha V3" which when you look at the google recaptvcha page on google has two versions, V2 and V3 it was assumed you were talking about this module related to this thread and not a new version by someone else that does only V3... make sense?

I don't know what I've done wrong - have installed step by step, applied for and inserted my keys and I'm getting ** reCaptcha error: Site Key not defined! **

Changed false statements to true on template pages in case it was that - no change, so switched them back for now as that part in the instructions isn't very clear.

Any suggestions?

This is alternative to the Numinix version, of which I was not even aware. I couldn't tell you which may be "better".
