PHP code in new created sidebox

Trying to add the sign-up form for my client's mailing list to his store.. This code works on a defined page:

This code does NOT work using the Editable Sidebox module (Editable Sidebox parses the PHP code effectively disabling it). So I'm now trying to figure out how to work this using the Blank Sidebox module.. Can any kind hearted person help me sort out how to add this to the Blank Sidebox??

AND

$content .= do_shortcode('[wysija_form id="1"]');

Neither worked

Answering my own question..

  $content .= do_shortcode('[wysija_form id="1"]');

Worked.. turns out made a copy and paste error when I first copied the code.. (left off a good chunk of the punctuation in the code I initially tried..

Going to bed.. Tired.. and should have gotten my glasses out HOURS ago..

You're right - blank sidebox did not have a support thread; I just created one.
I'm not sure what do_shortcode is. What error are you getting?

Hey Scott.. Thanks for creating the support thread..

Not getting any errors now.. do_shortcode is a WordPress function.. Client has a WordPress blog, and he has a WordPress newsletter plugin he uses (MailPoet).. We wanted to drop the MailPoet signup form onto his Zen Cart store so that it's now present everywhere on his site.. Just a plain old link that took someone to his blog wouldn't work since the signup form is in a sidebar widget and not on a WordPress page. He prefers the sidebar widget as it makes his newsletter signup available everywhere..

Once I put on my glasses and figured out my mistake, the form shows in the Zen Cart sidebox and works like a dream!!
