Custom Category/ Products content?

Hello,

I have searched and can't find a specific thread that talks about this type of feature. Any help would be appreciated.

My client would like something on the home page similar to what this site has: personalcreations.com

Mainly they are looking for the ability to add 4-5 products from each category and have them listed on the home page.

She would like to have control over this though, something like the featured products but this would be for each category in her cart and would like it to work just like this site. So that she can have 4-5 products for each category on the home page,,,she wants it broken up by category though.

Having the ability to "view all from this category" would be nice too

any idea if someone has created this module yet?

You might search the Plugins area for categories, but there's no mod I'm aware of that will do that. You could hard-code it into define_main_page.php.

Thanks, that is a very good idea, I could just set it up so she can then manually switch the products,,,great idea.
