Checkout stopped working!

my site seems to have stopped working randomly.

when I add an idem to cart it goes to cart, when i go to check out via paypal it works fine

when i try to login as a customer it says "There was a security error when trying to login."

when i try to create a new account it goes to the page to enter detail i ender details then hit sign up and the page just refeshes and all empty, checking in admin new customer is not created.


can anyone point me in the right direction?

have read this and the problem i am getting is in chrome.

also noticed that when i click to go to check out and login screen etc the site is not going to the SSL section of the site.

fixed!

not sure what I changed but I turned off ssl, and site worked, turned it back on (in the config file) and now it working.

Also removed a 301 redirect for the index.php?main_page=index

now all seems to be working..... but the index.php?main_page=shopping_cart redirect still seems to be working hum......
