CSS based template?

I've just installed v1.5, and I'm looking at customising a template.
I'd understood that Zen Cart was now CSS based instead of table based, but looking at e.g. tpl_main_page.php in the default template, the main column and sidebars seem to be defined using a table.

Just wondering if I've got the right version of the default template, or could someone point me towards a CSS based starting template?

That one layout table is indeed in the default template for versions 1.3.x and v1.5.0. That's the only "layout table". There are other tables, but they're truly tabular data so quite appropriate.

Thanks for that - I was worried I might have had an old version. I'll check out the Plugins area.
