how to remove duplicate products from new products listed in main page

Hi,

I have copy the products as a duplicate product from one category to another category and on the home page i have activate the new products but the duplicate products are displayed it on the new products list.

I want to display the only one product in the new product list..

Please help...

New Products or Copy as Duplicate Products add the Product with today's date in the table:
products

as the field for:
products_date_added

You could edit that in phpMyAdmin to an older date than what you use for New Products ...
