Default Chinese word became question marks??

I had just installed the chinese language pack(latest version), and it shows up successfully.

However my problem wasn't about the language pack, is the chinese words that i typed(for the title/description of the product)//
all the chinese words shows up became >> ??? << ..
Is it because of the template that i used just support english words, and not other language?

Anyone please help me to resolve my problem?

you have to set the language of your browser to display UTF-8 or GB2312.

Or you have the database set to some other character encoding. There is a tool out somewhere that can change your database character encoding from whatever it was to UTF-8.

It is good habit to have the database always set to UTF-8
