Can you try editing "/your-secret-admin/new_customer.php"; Add the changes in red (around line 299):

This fix was previously posted by christamcc. Let me know if this solves the problem in your environment.


NOTE: PHP 5.2.x reached end-of-life on 6 Jan 2011. It has not received bug or security fixes since. I would strongly urge any store owner to keep Zen Cart up to date (version 1.5.4 currently) and make sure the hosting provider stays up to date as well (PHP 5.5 is the oldest version currently supported - see PHP end-of-life).

We're updating a site to v1.5.5a, and we need to update this plugin. However, it only has compatibility to v1.5.1 listed.

Any timeline on a v1.5.5+ release? Pointers on making it work with the newer version?

I've got this working on 1.54 with some simple updates to present the new customer password in admin after the account is successfully created... the password data was there the entire time!

So now it works as a starting point for admins to setup, provide customer login information without giving them the 'forgot password' runaround and it co-operates with Admin Log in as Customer seamlessly for anyone using Twitch POS for in-person/phone sales.
