html editing settings not there as i recal?

Isn't there an HTML section instead of just plain text?
It's being wierd even in item description.. Its just a straight box
I remember there being more options.. Bizarre..

on a side note.. if anyone knows how to modify Information Sidebox.. nd remove links / Add links? as well as access currency section on the header?

using theme purchased via template monster...

The HTML editor was removed from version 1.5.0. Check the Plugins area for the CKE Editor.

No html editor with 1.5. But you can add one in from addon area.

INstalled it but it doesn't seem to be active or available

If I recall correctly when you install a new editor you need to log out of admin and/or close your browser to refresh the cache before it will show. Hope that helps :)
