Annoying word stuck on my main page

Hi so there is a word product stuck in the center box of my main page. This word also shows at the top of every information page such as the about us and shipping and so on. Please help me fix this as it's a big problem and Im not sure how to get rid of it thank you.

If you look at the main page you will see just under the flash part a word products that is the problem.

The problem you describe may be a result of a plugin that you installed and didn't unisntall completely, so start there.

view source for each page and I see

So find whereever you did that...

Stevesh is on the money, do you have a filter by or search by mod installed? I can't remember the mod name but I had same issue one time, removing mod fixed it for me.

You've got HEADING_TITLE defined in one of your /extra_definitions/ files, and that is overriding whatever you've got it set to display on other pages.

If it's not in your extra_definitions files, then it's in one of the other folders that gets loaded on every page. The ONLY suitable place for any HEADING_TITLE definition is inside a page-specific file located in your /includes/languages/YOUR_LANGUAGE_NAME_HERE/the_page_name_here.php file. Anyplace else is prone to symptoms such as you describe.

"Product Filter by Attribute and price range" is your guilty mod, see post 17. If you don't need the mod then make sure you have removed each additional file it added.

I don't need that specific mod I guess however I am trying to find one that allows the customer more options to search by say new item,best seller,high price,low price so on. Is there a better mod for that you know of.
