USPS Shipping Module does not show up under Modules/Shipping

I have recently installed ZenCart for the first time. It was installed as version 1.5.0. I have installed the Aberdeen Neutral Template and made some formatting changes.

I have the following 8 shipping modules listed under the Modules/shipping area:

Flat Rate
Free Shipping Options
FREE SHIPPING!
Per Item
Per Unit
Store Pickup
Table Rate
Zone Rates

I downloaded the USPS Shipping Module Update (v 1.3.9) from this URL: http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.ph...tionhash=guest

The Readme said to unzip it, copy the USPS.php into the zencart shipping module directory. I copied USPS.php into zenstore/includes/modules/shipping and copied modules into my admin folder. when that did not work, I copied the USPS.php file into zenstore/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping.

I logged out of the admin area of my zencart and back in and checked after each of these copies but the USPS module still does not show up in the Modules/shipping area.

What am I missing?

Please go to your Admin and go to the Tools ... Developers Tool kit ... and in the bottom input box enter:
usps.php

and select Catalog and click SEARCH ...

What comes up?

Hi I am encountering this same issue...It appears I have the usps.php in the right places. See below.

What are your settings on Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

If you go to Modules ... Shipping ... and click on the USPS ... what do you see in the right hand panel?

I do not see USPS in your shipping choices ...

Make sure that you have in these files directories:
/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php
/includes/lanugages/english/modules/shipping/usps.php

If you do, do a search in the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box enter:
usps.php

and select Catalog and click search ...

What comes up on the filenames and the version id lines?

If you go to Modules ... Shipping ... below all of the shipping modules listed do you see a line like:
Module Directory: /home/reacti9/public_html/includes/modules/shipping/

Or, is it just blank?

If just blank, if you look via FTP at the directory:
/includes/modules/shipping

do you have copies or backup files of usps.php in that directory?

If not, can you check that the file:
/home/reacti9/public_html/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php

is the code file ...

and can you check that the file:
/home/reacti9/public_html/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/usps.php

is the language file with the DEFINE statements in it ...

Both files are the "Define" files...

You need the code file in:
/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php

Check the download again and reload the files to the server in the correct directory ...
