Paypal Express Checkout changes sendTo Address

v139h fresh installation
payment modules: cod, standardtransfer, saferpay and paypal express
other modules: discount, vatmod

When a customer uses paypal express providing a shipping address not equal his paypal address, this (individually provided) address will be overwritten by the paypal standard address. The paypal address is added in zencart and afterwards selected.

Log file says SESSION[sendto] is now set to 12345
Selected Address: 12345
Original was: 54321

Module Configuration:
Express Checkout: Require Confirmed Address: No

Is it possible to change this behaviour? and how? I would prefer, if the custom address would be used.

I just had a phonecall with paypal technical support at germany. They told me that there is an api-call to set addressoverride to no/false. Afterwards the Shipto address should not be overridden anymore.
Can anybody confirm that and if so, please let me know how to tweak the module?

The address-override does already get set ... but only if the customer has already logged in and is proceeding through normal checkout, selecting PayPal from the checkout_payment screen. It also requires that the "require confirmed address" setting be turned off.
It also requires that shipping is applicable to the order. If it's all virtual products, then shipping is irrelevant, so none of the address-override stuff applies.

So, as mentioned in the other thread quoted above, the way to force all customers into that mode is to simply go into your Zen Cart admin, and there edit your PayPal Express Checkout module setting to turn off the EC Shortcut button. And on that same screen, set the Require Confirmed Address to no.

OK, here is more info.
customers can only put products in their cart, when registered and logged in (B2B).
All products are physical and shipping is applicable.
Dr.Byte: exactly our configuration.
EC Shortcut Button is turned off AND Require Confirmed Address is set to no.
Nethertheless, the ShipTo Address is overriden by Paypal Address.
