Show add to cart button for each product in category

How can I set Zen cart to show the add to cart button for each item in a given category? I have set all the product types to add to cart, I have also set display product add to cart button to 1. Only the product price is displayed no button to add to cart. The store mode is set to normal as well. What am I missing?

Note that this is not a live site and is running on my local machine so there is no url to view.

Switch to the classic template and report back if this produces an add to cart button

I copied my site to a different folder and re-ran the zen cart config and it now shows a more info link just after the price no add to cart button. All of the other settings are as I stated in my initial post.

More information indicates that there are attributes that need to be selected so no add to cart will be present
