I can not find any error info in cache folder when my code is wrong.
Peek in the directory:
/logs
makes sure that it has the correct permissions and, viewing in FTP, that you refresh the directory to see the most recent log files ...
NOTE: there should not be any log files and when you find one, it is time to start looking to see why ...
NOTE: sometimes when customizing code you may get 1 or 2 here and there ... but once you think you are done, you should be able to delete all of the debug log files and run without any being generated ...

And the change from /cache/ to /logs/ is outlined in the Release Notes for the new version. I'm not sure why we write all those notes if nobody reads them
