[Not a ZC bug] Save as deal finder superfish pop-up

Forgive me as I am new to this, I have searched the forums and google to no avail.

Tonight at some point, 3 of the Zen Cart shops I work on started displaying a small blue button on all the images that said "See Similar", and then when I hover over the images it has a strange blue laser type effect rolling over the image.

The other thing that happens on the detail pages is that a pop-up comes up which says "Save as deal finder" and then says "Save as deal finder Powered by Superfish". The products are all totally unrelated to the products on these sites.

One of the websites it has happened to I have been working on today, but I havent gone anywhere near the other 2.

I did a search on google for other sites that are "powered by zen cart" which are unconnected to me and all the sites I went on were doing the very same thing.

How do I remove these ASAP?

I should have said, the reason I ask is that you have almost certainly installed (probably without your knowledge) a spamware firefox addon.

It was quite likely added as part of another firefox add-on you installed.

Yes! I am.... And I have just viewed them in Safari and they are fine. Thank you! And thank you for your fast response.

How can I prevent this from coming up on on customer websites who use Firefox with the same add on?

You have a Spyware Ad On called WindowShopper from a company called Superfish... You should be able to delete it...
