So the customer can enter what they will pay...much like a "donate" button?

you can create amounts in increments as attributes with radio buttons or a dropdown and making the first display only and titles "Please Choose" then $5, $10, $15....or $10, $20...

Actually, yes. Set the product price to 1.00 and let them use the quantity box for the price they want to pay.

Is there a way to have the item be free, or pay? I have a downloadable item I'd like to offer for people to download free, but with the option of paying money for it if they choose.

Set the product price to 0.00, set the product as priced-by-attributes=true. Then add attributes to handle pricing in either various incremental amounts or as 1.00 and have people use the quantity to set their price. Originally Posted by 3Apples

At the risk of boo'd off stage, if you give people a choice of paying something or paying nothing, only 1 person in a 1000 will opt to pay (and I think even that is a generous estimate). Originally Posted by 3Apples
