Admin Menu - iPad Frendly?

Hello, my name is Carmelo,

is possible that someone help me, can i mod admin nav menu in this mode:

i do login to my zen with ipad and after i click to the nav menu example to reports then menu drop down, so i mean not in mouse hover but in mouse click?

It has always been possible to click on the main menu rather than use the hover drop-down. Such a click, anywhere on the main menu in admin, takes you to an alternate view of the main admin page, with all the menus and menuitems down the left side instead of across the top. Then you can click whichever one you want to go to the usual view of that page. It forces you to use an extra click or two, but it works.

Hello and thank you for Your time to reply me.

i mean to have this function with i pad, just to get sub menu after i click and after to have time to choose that one i need to use, becuase happen that i click and i get a sub menu ( drop down) but after 1 second i get all other menues and function drop down not work, so i get all it in order like i have click the principal menu. is hard to describe maybe, my english too.... simply i need to get menu after click, and if i click for second time to get it closed, now function so, if i go over with mouse i get sub menu in drop down and i can choose.... but i pad has not mouse or pointer

I think I understand what you mean.

I tested it on my iPad before replying to you, and it works.

Maybe the browser you are using on the iPad won't work in admin. I use Opera Mini. It works better than Safari for many sites.

Upgrading to 1.5 will only improve search engine ranking, not hurt it.

Hello DrByte, here i am again :) yes as u know i have upgrade to 1.50 but menu problem still to be, if i click on admin menu i have just 3 sec. to select a sub menu, after open all menus, not have an addon or tomedit something that give me time to choose from ipad, not to open automaticly on mouse hover but on click.

Go to the file includes/filenames.php and change the following line..

define('FILENAME_ALT_NAV', 'alt_nav');

to

define('FILENAME_ALT_NAV', '#');
