Downloads: Error for .prc e-book file type download

Hi All,

On my store I sell downloadable files, including e-books. I am encountering a problem ONLY when people purchase the .prc file type.

File types of .epub, .pdf, and .zip work fine. You can click on the download button and those file types download fine.

However, when someone purchases a .prc file type, if they left click on the Download button, they get a Forbidden message.

I can duplicate it. However, I'm also able to go back and use a RIGHT click and use Save Link As or Save Target As and it will download. However, this doesn't help me with upset customers who aren't reading the warnings to use a right click instead of a left click.

Any thoughts on how to fix this? Or is this a bigger issue that will require a bug fix? (Yes, I'm updating to the latest version next week, but I've got too much going on this weekend to do it.)

You will find in the directories:
/pub
/download

the file:
.htaccess

In these files you will see two lines similar to:

<FilesMatch ".*\.(zip|ZIP|gzip|pdf|PDF|mp3|MP3|swf|SWF|wma|WMA|wmv|WMV|wav|epub)$">

Following the pattern, you need to add your file extensions to these, then load them to your server ...
