Showing Sale prices and regular prices - Detailed Receipts

Hello,

I have a client that wants a detailed receipt for every order, for the email to the customer and in the Admin/backend orders/invoice section. For example, if there is a 25% off sale on an item that is $100, the receipt should show the original price ($100) and how much the product was actually sold for ($75).
It shows the detailed information for Coupons, Taxes, & Shipping; but I can't find where the setting is for Sales.

I suppose we can get rid of sales entirely, and just adjust the prices themselves when needed, if it's not possible to do this.
