Required field not always saving data

Hi, i have a required field which is the telephone number, i have tested it and it does not register without me placing the required number of digits in the field.

We have noticed that when printing some of the orders out, the telephone number is blank, upon checking the customers own contact details, some have the telephone number missing and wondered how this can happen?

Any ideas what is going on here?

I am using 1.50 on a linux hosting account

Could be their address information is coming from Paypal. I think there's an option to require the telephone number.

Cheers, will look into, am i correct in thinking you are talking about settings within Paypal? We have it currently setup for PayPal Express
