I'm not a coder or database wrangler by trade - just a humble designer.

What is the best way to back up a databse (from Zencart admin, or the php manager)?

And how do I 'run SQL' so I don't get bad data again?

If you have the Zen Cart Backup installed, you can use that ... or use phpMyAdmin: http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?...atabase-backup

To run those SQL statements ... you can run them either in phpMyAdmin in the SQL or in the Zen Cart Admin under Tools ... Install SQL Patches ...
