How do I log in?

I just downloaded Zen Cart and I can see it on my URL. How do I login to begin customizing the web page?

I still find no information on how to log in to the admin area. If I can't get any help, I will just have to download different software.

When you installed the software you were asked to rename your admin folder so your admin area can be found at:

yourdomain.com/thenewname

I spent over an hour searching the FAQs for this info...it seems like a boneheaded question to people who are working with Zen cart every day, but is not intuitive for everyone...I installed a zencart shop (everything is working) but decided I needed to learn more in order to customize it. Four months later, having a better grasp of PHP language and structure, ready to try again. Couldn't remember how to log into the Admin. (I know you can manage the site through ftp and PHPmyAdmin, but...). SO. next thing...figure out how to get my local (test) copy working and how to use EasyPopulate...back to drawing board

Actually, you can't manage your site through just ftp and phpMyAdmin. It does require admin access to add products and categories and handle orders. (I suppose if you know the database structure as well as the developers, you could add a product or update an order, but I guarantee they don't do that except maybe for special tests.)

When you install Zen Cart, you are given explicit instructions on how to log in to admin. I grant that the support forum may not address the case of those who have installed but never logged in for several months and forgotten what they saw at install...
