name lookup timed out - "ideal payments"

Goodmorning,

I have installed a few months ago a ideal (dutch payment system) payment module.
Everything went fine, but since two days I cannot receive payments through that system anymore (I did not change anything at my website, so that should not be the problem).
I receive the following errors:

name lookup timed out

or:


Error:
No Issuer, return to the homepage

I hope that someone knows how to solve this. :)

The message means that your store couldn't reach the payment gateway's server. It could be down, or your own server's address lookups might not be working properly. Those are outside the control of Zen Cart.

You will need to work with the payment processor to find out why their system is having a problem. Maybe also engage your hosting company for assistance.

Thank you DrByte. My hosting company has been testing for several hours, but they cannot find the problem. I also called the payment processor, but they said there is nothing wrong at their side.. So I will call them again..

Would imply that the problem may have something to do with your SSL installation.

Hopefully your host has looked into that possibility too.

Do you have any othe SSL issues, or is all OK in that regard?
